IMRT AT A GLANCE

  • The Institute of Management Research and Technology (IMRT) was established in 1986 under the esteemed aegis of NDMVP Samaj, with the vision of imparting quality education and training in the fields of Management and Computer Sciences.
  • Affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU)—formerly Pune University—and recognized by the Government of Maharashtra, AICTE New Delhi, and DTE Mumbai, IMRT has been a beacon of academic excellence for over three decades. The Institute was accredited with a B+ grade by NAAC for the assessment period 2023-2028.

Milestones in the Journey of IMRT:

  • 1986: Launched pioneering courses such as MPM (now MBA-HRD), PGDBM, and PGDCM, under the Faculty of Management, affiliated to Pune University.
  • 1989: Introduced the MCM course (currently MBA-IT), expanding opportunities in information technology and management.
  • 1992: Added Post Graduate Diploma in Hospital Management (PGDHM) to address the growing demand in healthcare management.
  • 1994: Received AICTE approval to offer the MBA program under Pune University’s jurisdiction, solidifying its academic reputation.
